Adding a datasheet as a subform/page

Hello all... I have a pretty easy one for you all here.

I have an Access 2007/2010 database that I developed. I have also created a "Welcome" page for it.

Here is my issue:

On the "Welcome" page, I inserted a "page" onto the page. On the "child page" I would like to show a listing of all of our vehicles. So I created a query from the Vehicles table and selected only the columns that I wanted to show on the Welcome page. I then created a continuous form based on that query, and inserted the form into the "child page".

The problem is that it is ONLY showing the first record. I can use the record selectors and view all of the records just fine, but on the "Welcome" page it only show one record at a time.

Also, when I view the continuous form on it's own, it also shows ALL of the records.

What do I have to change to get this to display properly???

Thanks,

dgaletar

The simplest way would be to have the subform viewed in datasheet view. Or you can just make all of the controls on your subform be in a line and make the details section be only has high as the line of controls. This will make it look like a datasheet, only better (personal opinion).

You need to start using the standard names and terms so that people can help you and so that you can understand the the help given. Please read thru the following two links.
> Description of frequently used terms in Microsoft Access
> Database design basics

What you have stated in you original post is:

> On the Parent form named "Welcome".
> You have inserted a sub-form as a child to the Parent "Welcome" form - let us name that "sfrm_ChildToWelcome".
> You then created a second sub-from and made that a child to to sfrm_ChildToWelcome - let us name this third form "sfrm_GrandChildToWelcome"
> You also have a forth form that shows all of the data. You didn't give it a name... and frankly, this form doesn't have any relationship to the question you've posed.
> Further, it sounds as if "Welcome" has no baring upon the data that you want to show. It is merely a holder for "sfrm_ChildToWelcome" and "sfrm_GrandChildToWelcome"

?> As for how yo want "sfrm_ChildToWelcome" and "sfrm_GrandChildToWelcome" to show your data... is somewhat unclear; however, it seems that you'd like it to show like a tree.... or as the table and sub-table.

Please take a few moments to salvage your question.
