Returning all records when one of several combo boxes in a form that filters a query

[Z{Mod Edit - Correct the Grammar, spelling, and to give the reader's eyes a break as follows:
- Stricken parts are just that, stricken/deleted;
- Paragraphs breaks added for "white space;"
- my Edits enclosed within curly brackets "{};" and
- my in-line comments enclosed as this one is "[Z{..}]."}]

[Z{Start of Randey's Post}]
I have a table that I need to recall certain data according to what I use in a form filter that uses several combo boxes.

If the combo box is empty then I want to recall all the data that meets the {conditions} in the other combo boxes {however,} this one {criteria} is not important.

The form filter is tied to a query that returns what is listed in the combo box in the form filter.

Right now if there is nothing in the combo box then it only returns data where that field is blank (which never happens).

How can I write an expression that returns all the data if that combo box is left blank? [Z{first question}]

For example I need to find all students: who are a certain major; day or night students; and perhaps with a certain grad date. Or one specific student and I only want to type in their ID #. This could be a combination of some, or all of the above {combo box values}.

What expression would I use in a query that returns all the data when the combo box is empty? [Z{Second question -even though it's related, rules state only one question at a time per thread}]

In other words I need all Business students who are day students but I don't care about their grad date or maybe I do.
