What version of Access are you using and what format is the database file in?

Standard fix is to open a new database and attempt to import the user defined tables, queries, etc... nothing with a "MSsys" in the name. Then open the VBA editor and do a compile.

Also, http://allenbrowne.com/ser-47.html for some hints about database corruption.
