How to set up a Report

Hello, I was wondering if its possible to display images from photo bucket in my access report. I know this is a big step. But if its not too hard I'd like to give it a try. Just wanted to know others opinions on how I should start this or be doing things differently.

The only thing I know that might work for web-based images would be here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;285820 Read towards the bottom of the page. Hopefully someone will have a better solution for you.

What access version are you using?

You can use a web-browser control to show a webpage (and thus a photobucket link) in a SINGLE-view FORM, but not a report.

Printing the form did not result in the the image being printed when I tried.

I think you would need to write code to retrieve and store the image in a local folder, and then present that in your report.

im using 2010. I thought it would have to be done that way. Guess there is no easy way of doing it. Cause I have a huge amount of photo's on the site. It would be too much for me to code to store the image and put it in the report. Thanks for the help anyways

Hey, this maybe the same thing as already posted... it reads a little differently to me and I don't have anything to test the idea with: http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/ac...in=HP005188821

i think you need to collect the picture in a folder to import it in a report.

Which I think defeats what OP is after by having the pictures online.

Watch the vid... no gathering... just a nice little web ctrl... in the vid they give an example where the addresses are stored in a table field and then Bing maps are displayed in the control based on current record in the form... I think this is exactly what OP is after... no extreme programing etc...

I can duplicate the Vid example... I just don't have anythinging in photobucket to try it out with.
