Using a Combobox on a form to select a record

I am at my wit's end.

Using Access 2007 and simplifying everything so I can show you here:

TblContact
ContactID
Contact

TblVisit
VisitID
ContactID (foreign key)
VisitDate

I would like a form based on TblVisit which uses a combobox to pull the ContactID from TblContact and put it into the ContactID for TblVisit.

I have used this extensively in the past...today I can't get it to work at all. I thought something must be wrong with my computer but tried it on another and it didn't work. :-) Must be me, after all!

That should work. The concept is fine.

Your question doesn't indicate what you tried nor what went wrong when you tried it. It's hard to be much help in such circumstances.
