Access 2010 randomly crashes with VBA

11
I recently upgraded to 2010 and have been working on a new DB project and seem to be having weird issues with the new version. I'm building forms and have very simple code on most of them - buttons that open another form, etc. Nothing too fancy. Anyway I'm getting random issues where the database will crash when trying to use some of this code. I'll click a button to open a form and the whole thing will crash, when it had been working fine previously. when I reopen Access it will bring up the backup which I can save and this will work fine, but the original is still broken. Has anybody experienced this? It's super annoying and I'm wondering if there's a way to resolve this.

Seems to be an installation issue.
Try to reinstall Office. At full.
Better is to uninstall it first.

May I ask you if Smecker can be read as Smecher or as Shmecher ? :)
That because your nick sound as a funny word in my language.

I doubt that it's an install issue - I have had similar problems with some (not all) of my databases that have been developed over a number of years in A2003 then A2007. Never had the problems with A2007 - then a series of random crashes in A2010. For that reason I remain using A2007 at work for the moment and have not upgraded to A2010, though I use A2010 at home.

I don't have a solution for you, but I recognise the problem and have experienced it myself too...
