Click to make a field appear

P: 1
Hi! I have two fields (Medical History 1 & Medical history 2) on a form. Medical History 1 is visible for all the records.I want medical history 2 to be an optional field and only appear in the record in a form only when required or when a tab is clicked. Please Suggest.I understand a bit of Macro and expressions. but no code
Thank You

The code is simple enough. You set the .Visible property of the object to True to show it and to False to hide it. You don't specify which event you want to trigger it, so I can only say you put this simple code in the event procedure that you select.

As far as I know, this is not possible.
Not in a way you suggest: to appear-disappear the field in the record.
The closest approach is to place the control for Medical history 2 (a text box I think) in the form footer or form header. To do that open the form in design view then drag the control in desired area. Also in this area place the command button to set visibilities for that control.

Sorry but I can't say more without using VBA.
