Combo Box Trouble Converting from 2003 -> 2010

Hello,

I have recently updated a database from 2003 mdb to 2010 accdb (in actuality, I believe it's a 2007 accdb). Regardless, I am working on the MS 2010 interface.

I am working on a clinic database and would like to limit user error for patient entry. To do this, I would like to update the drop down menu options.

For example, one field, has the following (truncated) options as a visit reason:

Pap
Colpo
Mamas
Consult
Pap+Colpo
Pap+Mamas
Otra

Since a patient can come to the clinic for multiple reasons, and to limit spelling errors, I would like a drop down menu that limits the options to the choices I create and allows for multiple selections. Thus, updated to accdb and created the new variables and checked limit to list and multiple values in the combo box wizard.

New variables:

Pap
Colpo
Biopsy
Consult
PEE
Examen de los senos
Histerectomía
Otra

However, after saving, the new variables are not reflected while the combo box and limit to list options are.

Any suggestions on why the new variable options are not available?

I hope I have provided enough information, please let me know if something else would be of use.

Thank you,
Erin

I think that you have a bound combo.
So you must update the information (yours "variables") in the bounded table.
