Create a reminder form in Access 2007 using a query

Hi,

I need to create a query so that when a user logs into the database a form pops up showing them a list of work that will need to be updated in the next two months?

I have a bit of knowlege about writting queries in access and very little knowlege about the coding but i am willing to learn.

I would like to try and create the reminder with using as little programming as possible just so I can get my head around it first. After reading some of the forums on here it seems it might also be a good idea on sending an email reminder?

Sending an e-mail will require more code.

After creating the query and creating the form to display the results, you can use the start up options to open that form. That would be no lines of code at all.

Louise,

My best advice (however unkind it may sound) is to take a few steps back and give some more thought to exactly what you think will be the process of this reminding business. Your thoughts as explained are far too unclear, even in your own mind I suspect, for it to be a good idea to progress from here.

Back to the drawing-board is never popular to hear, but I'm sure you'll make better progress with that approach.
