Prevent Access.adp from Import

P: 1
Hello Guys
I would like to know if there is a way ,which can prevent users to import data from an access.adp database to another Files.

I have a database in sql server 2008R2 and my project is on Access.adp 2010. I do not want users to be able to Import the data (tables, query) of this database to another one (using the import option of MS Access).

Thanks in advanced

I would think that setting a database password on it might work, but if you have the data in the same file as the project then this would complicate using it normally unless you gave out the password.

So, it would make sense to split the project from the data and protect the data with the password. There is a wizard available to help with splitting a project into Front End and Back End databases. You can also find info on it in Front-End / Back-End (FE/BE).
