How do I successfully Compact and Repair my Database?

I am having the following issues with the compact and repair button...

1. Error message, ["AOIndex" is not an index in this table.]

2. Another error message stating... [The form name fOpening_Form is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist.]

Any help is much appreciated!

I have also tried this...

After I went through the proccess of Compacting and Repairing, I copy the forms and some of the reports over to the new Comacted database, but I get an error message stating, [(database name) has detected that this database is in an inconsistent state, and will attempt to recover the databse...]

Any idea what this means and how to go about fixing it?

It sounds like you have a corrupted database. If you haven't got a reliable back-up then you will probably need to rebuild it from what you have. That is a subject that has been asked and answered numerous times and is too complicated to go through again simply to save having to find a copy. I did a quick search and found How to Troubleshoot and Repair a Damaged Access 2002 or Later Database, which appears to have more than you need.
