How do I Search by Name When Name is a Linked Field

P: 1
When I use Find to find a name in a form, it does not find it because the combo box is set to link to the Primary Key ID number for the name. How does one get around that?

You use a ComboBox for your find control.

The ComboBox is set up to reflect the table where the IDs are associated to the names so the names show, but the value returned is the ID. This value, the ID, is then used for the search of your data, instead of the name itself.

PS. I undeleted your question, and you can ignore the delete comment, after I realised I'd misinterpreted what you were asking for when I first read it (and deleted it).
