query criteria based on form not working in other computers

I have about 3 to 4 queries that a filtered using form fields.
It works perfectly on my laptop but does not work on other laptop.

I am using MS access 97. All other laptops are using access 97 as well.

It seems that access on other computers does not recognise the criteria coming from forms.

There couple of reports and charts based on this queries and I cannot figure it out.

Does anyone know of any configuartion in access 97 that could resolve this?

Did I miss anything?

I would appreciate your ideas as I am not quite used to access 97.

Thanks alot.

I have never used 97, so not sure what my advice is worth. But I would start by checking that you have the same service packs installed, and/or other relevant updates.

I can only suggest you check through Referring to Items on a Sub-Form and try out all the different possibilities listed there for referring to form-based controls. Access 97 is not used very much nowadays, and most answers from experts will be from memory rather than recent experience or anything they can test properly before submitting.

BTW. I also feel that Smiley's suggestion about service packs etc and ensuring all software is as up-to-date as possible is a very good one.

That's always worth doing as a first step Jerry.

I'm pleased that worked for you :-)
