Proper syntax for using an update query in VBA?

Could anyone give me the proper syntax for executing a SQL Update Query in VBA in an on_click event?

Maybe like a step-by-step explanation?

Not that I do not want to help you, but this is such a common question it must have been asked a million times before, and there are answers ready on the internet.

My suggestion to you when you need to make queries it to start my making the query in the access query designer, and then copy paste the SQL syntax to your vba code, and modify the bits that need modifying.
