the project window is missing

when I reopen an access 2000 DB after compile, the project window is missing (wich is an symptom for corruption)

I develop locally and copy the DB (interface) to the server, where I resolve dependencies and recompile. I exit the DB compacting (if it didn't compact I resolved the corruption creating a new DB and importing all elements).

Well after working in this manner for a long time, suddenly
I get this 'new' problem

Hi and welcome to Bytes.

I would start by checking that you have not accidentally switched it off. You can see this (for AC2003) if you go to Tools->Startup and check if the "Display Database Window" is checked.

And the issue persists if you move to a fresh database and import all objects?

Does the issue persist if you open your database with Shift held down? (Hold it down till you see the database window).

Any chance that you have used code that disables the window on startup?

Have you tried doing a decompile->Compact->Compile?

Another thing to try is to press F11. This will show the Project Window if it's simply hidden (You can hide any window simply by choosing Hide from the Window menu). Pressing F11 is equivalent to choosing Unhide from the Window menu and selecting the Project Window.

A hidden Project Window is not an indicator of corruption in itself.
