use for each in subform

ninodgg
Hi to group
I have an form(form0) with 2 subforms(form1 & form2), with VBA, apply filter to form1.
Now I tried update second form with filtered data of form1 with this code:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. For Each field1 In Forms!form0.Form!form1.Form
  2.   sqlstr = "UPDATE Forms!form0.Form!form2.Form SET
  3.   Forms!form0.Form!form2.Form!fieldWW = forms!form0.form!form1.form!field1
  4.   where ........
  5.   DoCmd.RunSQL sqlstr
  6.   Next lotto
  7.
Problem is:
only first record of form1 is read, like next not working.
Thank to help

Hi ninogg and welcome to Bytes

First of all, access forms work on 1 record at a time. Thats the way its supposed to be. Of course you can manipulate entire tables with millions of rows using SQL or recordsets, but the form has focus on 1 record at a time.

Second of, your code looks very weird, and not something normally to be used in Access. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
