Command to Duplicate Record in a Form gives error "PasteAppend isn't available now"

We have an Access 2002 Front End Database that will be used by 8 users to enter data. Each user has own copy on their own file in the shared drive.

We have tried the Front End in 7 computers and in 3 of them everything works fine but in the other 4, when the users click the button on the only form that creates a duplicate record the following message appears: The command or action 'PasteAppend' isn't available now.

I've checked the memory in these 4 computers and they are the same as in the other 3. I've also check that they have DAO 3.6 checked, that Allow Editions in the Data on the Form = Yes.

Do you know why everything is fin in 3 computers but not in the other ones? Are there some settings that I need to check?

I've been looking in different forums for a similar case but so far haven't found the solution.

Thanks much!

Are your test results consistent? Does it NEVER work on the affected PCs and ALWAYS work on the rest?

Do they use the same Access version?

Can you post the code/macro behind your button?

Yes, it NEVER works on the affected PCs and so far I can say it ALWAYS works on the rest. Before splitting the table, we had +15 databases with the same design all saved in the network and they were using all of them with no issues. All I did was import the data from the different databases to create one and then split it, but now I have this error message ???

Yes, we all have Access 2002.

Here is the code:
Private Sub Command198_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_Command198_Click

DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 8, , acMenuVer70
DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 2, , acMenuVer70
DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 5, , acMenuVer70 'Paste Append

Exit_Command198_Click:
Exit Sub

Err_Command198_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_Command198_Click

End Sub

Thank you so much for your help!!!
