How can I save Running Total in Access 2007???

I have prepared ledger in Access 2007, in the report I have given running total so that i can get closing balance. Its working fine, but when i give period range to report the closing balnce gets wrong because its not saved any where... so can u please tell me how can i get closing balnace of the ledger by giving specific date period????????????

I don't think anyone understands what you're asking. For starters, I wouldn't assume that people are familiar with accounting terminology. Secondly, we have no way of knowing what you're trying to accomplish without a lot more detail about the reports data source and the stucture of the report itself.
