Lookup combobox not recognizing list values when typed into text box.

I have an unbound combobox being used as a lookup. THe list is built from a query. All was working well and all of a sudden now when I type in avalue that is in the list it triggers the "NotInList" function. Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks,

This has to be one of the weirder things Access has done to men but I have figured out the problem.
It would seem that if there are any "blank" records in the table that the lookup loads from it no longer recognizes any values in the lookup list, so all keyed entries are treated as a new value against the existing list, while selected values still work.
I just removed the blank records and all is working fine again.
Thank you Microsoft for wasting more of my time yet again. :-)
