(Complex) Running Totals - correction in algorithm

9
This thread was exactly what I was looking for ie (http://bytes.com/topic/access/answers/828972-complex-running-totals-ms-access-2003-query). Unfortunately I cannot figure out the correction in the algorithm NeoPa is referring to at the end. Kindly, could someone help me with the correct SQL syntax.

I believe that NeoPa in that post has allready made the needed corrections by editing his post.

Thank you for helping me on that one, TheSmileyCoder. The reason why I queried this was that Access 2007 give an error: “Running Sum Query Method can’t represent the join tC1.Year>tC2.Year in Design View”. Am I correct to assume this is because it is a pure SQL Statement and that Design View will never be able to interpreted this type of syntax.

Yup you are correct. Access can only show left, right and inner joins as far as i know. Union queryies for example can also not be shown in design view.
