Form won't open/nonresponsive

I was working on a Access 2003 database when I received an error that there was not enough memory to complete the operation. I did everything I could to free up memory, but eventually I just had to close Access without saving my latest changes (even trying to save brought up that error). When I went back into the database, the form I had been working on would not open. I double click on it and nothing happens. I try to open in design view and nothing happens. I am able to rename it, but I am not able to copy and paste it into the same database or a new one. It will allow me to copy and asks what I want to name the new form when I try to paste, but after that no new form appears in the list. I have tried repairing, decompiling, compacting - all without any effect. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Sorry Emily. It sounds like you have a corrupted object there. You best bet is to delete the object and hope the rest of the database can then be repaired and compiled.

When you're happy you've recovered what you can then, and only then, import a copy of the form from the latest backup you have, that you know to be clear of corruption.
