Access charts need to be read only -at the moment they allow edits by double clicking

Hi all,
I have several access forms with a load of graphs on them. When I split to a frontend/backend I get loads of problems with charts becoming invisible so I have decided not to split the database (only a couple of users so not a problem). I am running an accdb format using the 2007 runtime on users computers.

However, this change means everything must be well locked down. I have installed viewer on their PC which helps to lock it, but they can still double click on a graph and change formatting like title text/axis formats/... How can I completely prevent any edits of a chart, none of the options in Current Database seem to lock chart formatting. I can change the Enable option to No - but this makes everything print with a slightly grey background... Perhaps a transparent gif?

Is there a .Locked property to set?

There is, that seems to stop any changes being saved, but it pops up lots of messages saying 'no changes can be saved...' and also when I do want to change things I have to acknowledge 20 boxes before it lets me into design mode - it just seems very clunky.

Am now using a transparent gif which does work but making changes is now a hassle so Im sure there must be better way...

This all seems very strange, but your description is very vague so I cannot comment on anything really. I see no reason why you would have any problem with the .Locked property, but if you've tried it then I can say no more.
