How to setup a pop up reminder.

We have students that have to be trained every year.
We have a field listed as "Train Date" and a field listed as "Exp Date"
1) We need to automatically add 365 days to "Train date" and display the result in "Exp Date"
2) We need a pop up reminder 3 Months in advance of the "Exp Date" listing the student Name and Course expiring.

Can you help with this?

It's a little hard to comment definitively on this because we have no idea what the overall design of the user interface is. At what point would you want a popup message to appear? At login? At entry to some submenu or form? Exactly when and where should this happen?

Since there could be multiple students falling on the same date, and since multiple dates should be scanned (does anyone look at the program on weekends and holidays, when a popup could occur?), I would suggest a report or form might be a better solution than a popup. And it should list all students expiring within the last plus or minus 7 or 10 days, something like that.
