weird behavior on file created in Jap OS running on an english OS. subform not firing

Hi,

I have this access db which was developed in japanese OS. My problem is that when i run it in an english OS there seems to be alot of errors.

1. subforms' on load event is not firing
2. "enter parameter value" is popping out (although i have found the solution to this already

do you have any idea on this kind of set up?

Regards,
Rommel

Have your tried compiling the code. Also check the references list. Some of the libraries may be different. Look for any ticked libraries marked as Missing.

yes i have done recompiling already and references i checked also. the weird thing is that the file runs perfectly on a Japanese environment. and when run in english environment all these problems pops out. when debugging, i can see that the sub form's load event did not fire, that is why references to this sub form from the main form is failing. any ideas?

Try resetting the [Event Procedure] in the sub forms load event. As in delete it and then reset it.
