Is there a simple way to disconnect all form fields so that they are independent?

Form fields are all connected by default so that if you make on shorter, they are all shorter. I would like to be able to move them around individually, but it seems very tedious using the Stacked (or not Stacked) option. Is there a way to disconnect all fields so that they can be sized and moved around independently?

One simple solution is to create textbox and then type the name of the control inside it. For example, if the FieldName in the table is called "IDNO", then you will notice that "IDNO" is inside the IDField on the form. Inside the newely created field, type IDNO (This the "IDNO" field now) ..and so for other fields. Now they are all independent.

Controls are Stacked by default on a form.

What I usually do is select the controls I know are going to be the same size. I unstack that selection (disconnecting them from the original stack), and size them appropriately. Then select the next group of fields, unstack, resize. Repeat until all fields are unstacked.

Then arrange your fields where you want them to be. If they are the same size, you can always re-Stack field selections in their final positions.
