How to import Excel data with one column containing PDF/JPEG files to access 2007?

Hi,

I have beent trying importing Excel data with one column containing PDF/JPEG file name to access 2007.

I have a Excel file with few columns
One of the columns named as "Reference". The data in this is column is in following format.

2009_08_07_16_29_02_Part5.pdf
2009_08_07_16_29_02_Part1.pdf
....

As you can see the column contains ONLY the FILENAME and not the entire path where they are stored.
At the same time, these filenames are hyperlink as well. So when user clicks on these files pdf file opens.

Now i have imported everyother information of this EXCEL sheet. Also the filename is getting imported to access 2007 but they are no longer remain as hyperlink in access.

Now i would like to import all these filenames i.e they should show as filename in access column and when user clicks on it PDF/JPEG file should open.

PS: The field type which is storing this data in access is set as "Hyperlink" type

Any Idea how to accomplish this..

thanks
Prashant
