Insert animated gifs on Access forms

P: 53
Hi all.
I've searched for this problem and i could not find the best solution to put an animated Gif file on a form. Can you help me?
I don't want to use ActiveX or DLL files and I'm working with Access 2007.
Thanks

Microsoft Web Browser control is not a part of Access at all. Here you can find an example written in Access 2003.

Kind regards,
Fish

I don't think that this can be done without an ActiveX Control. The easiest Method would probably be the insertion of the Microsoft Web Browser Control onto your Form, then Navigate to the *.gif.

Check please this thread. I've attached there an Access 2003 database there fit to Web Browser control is implemented (Form: frmImages_MSWebBrowser, ToggleButton: Clip/Zoom). The fit is not yet perfect but it could be worked out.
