using access queries with user defined functions as MS query data source

I have an access query that uses a function that I defined (to perform aging on record dates) The query runs fine when called in access, however, when I try to call this query from MS Query, I get an error message that the function is not defined. What am I missing?

i don`t understand the problem what is?

but i think the problem in comma , or ; you use

in vba we use , but in query we use ;

or explain a detail of the problem or up the function you use or attach the example in problem.
