Exporting data from excel to perfom a calculation

I have a big problem. I have a price list in excel in which each service has a correspondng price and commission rate if that service is carried out. In Access I have a table which has an employee name and the services that they have carried out. How can I use the information in access to calculate their total comission (+basic wage) based on the figures in the Excel price list.

I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me find a solution.
Thanks

Are you asking what your calculation should be, or about how to get the data all connected in such a way that both sets can be accessed in the same calculation?

Having struggled trying to get Access and Excel to communicate efficiently I have decided to use Access to calculate the price and duration of the appointment. To do this I have a table called PriceList which has a list of services with their corresponding price, duration and commision rate. In a form i have a combo box using the PriceList table to display the service. Beside the service, selected using the combo box, I need the corrspeonding duration and price. I have tried dlookup but cannot seem to get it to work and there is no option in access to do this when making the combo box - i am refering to the the third option (cant remeber it word for word)

Perhaps a good next step would be to answer my question from post #2. I will certainly find it hard to help you if you can't even manage to respond directly to my simple questions.
