how cand i use oleDbType.currency

hi brothers & sisters
I used Ms Access Database with Vb.net 2005 (C#) lang.
i have a table for Product in this table i have a field name is "Price" by "Currency Data Type.
while i want insert data in this field i got this message "conn't comvert String to Deicmal"
the code for this issue :

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. param = savecom.Parameters.Add("@price", OleDbType.Currency);
  2.                 param.Value = txtPrice.Text;
please i want help
