Adjusting Field Width on MS Access 2007 report

P: 2
Is there a way to unlink the field title from the field so they can have different lengths?

When I adjust the width of either one, the other changes also. I have looked through the property sheet and can not find a way to turn this linking off.

You should be able to adjust the label width (what you call field title) from the textbox/combobox, without adjusting the other.

If you need to unlink em, you can select the label, then CUT and Paste the label. Atleast this works in Access 2003

I right clicked on the dashed border linning the label and text box, select layout/remove for the pop up menu.

Now the question I have is how do I turn on the layout linking if I want it back
