Forms and Checkboxes

P: 1
I am new to databases and VBA, however, I am a quick learner. Currently, I am creating a form with checkboxes that SHOULD automatically update with each record. However, regardless of what record I am on, the checkboxes are only updating the first record. When I set my Primary Key, so as to not create duplicates, I get this error message:
"The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index,...."

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you already have duplicates in that field Shutch.

I can't say much more as you don't give me much detail to work with. I know you're new and knowing what information to share can be a tricky question in itself, but without more info I can't be much help.

Check also that your form, and the controls on it, are all bound (The Record Source for the form and the Control Source for the controls are all set).

At the very least we need to know exactly what you mean by
I am creating a form with checkboxes that SHOULD automatically update with each record.
Update each record how? What code is tied to to these checkboxes?
