Is it possible to create password protection for the tables in the MS Access DB?

P: 23
Hello all,

Do you know the best method or functions to password protect the tables in the database? As I found out that my records in the tables are being changed, and if this continues, my data will be inaccurate.

Many thanks in advance for your help(:

Just make sure that the users can only access your tables using the forms.
I normally use a startup form to let the user login.
Tables can be set to "Hidden" and using the Tools/Startup you can disable the access to the database. Just check the possibilities in the Help file, but make sure you have a not protected copy for yourself as excluding yourself would make future changes impossible....
