How to Password Protect Records from Editing

I am trying to restrict users in my databse such that they can add records but cannot edit old records. I am not an advanced VBA coder so if there is anyway to do this without typing VBS source code I would really appreciate the help.

Set your form properties to:
AllowEdits=false
AllowAdditions=true

If you wish AllowDeletions=True/False.

Of course this only goes for forms.
