Requery Combox on Form

Hi,
I am very new to Access and have what I think is a fairly simple database and form. On my form I have one combo box that sets a filter for my second combo box. The filter works fine when I first select the value for ComboBoxA (ComboBoxb is filtered correctly). When I change my selection in ComboBoxA the list available for me to select from in ComboBox B does not change (it does not re-filter).

I have tried
Me.ComboBoxB.Requery;
Me!ComboBoxB.Requery;
[Form]![FormName]![ComboxB].Requery;
cmbComboBoxB.requery;
and
docmd.requery "cmbComboBoxB"
all as a Code on the After Update event of ComboBoxA but receive the error "The expression After Update you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: A problem occurred while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control".

If I click OK on the error and check the list on ComboBoxB I get a box appear on the screen asking for the parameter value.

I have also tried putting the event: on click, on focus, on enter (on ComboBoxB), etc but always receive the same error.

Would appreciate any help.

Thank you

Looks like your database got corrupted.

My MS Access database recovery steps are:

1) Create a backup of the corrupt database. (Just in case of)

2) Create a new database and use File/Get external data/Import to get all objects of the damaged database.

3) Try these Microsoft solutions:
Repair A97/A2000:
http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q109/9/53.asp
Jetcomp:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q273956
and/or read the article:
ACC2000: How to Troubleshoot Corruption in a Microsoft Access Database
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;306204

4) Bit "heavier":
Access decompile:
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/decompile.htm

5) Try a recovery tool / Table rescue
Table datarecovery:
www.mvps.org/access/tables/tbl0018.htm
Access recovery:
http://www.officerecovery.com/access/index.htm

6) Ask a company (will cost $$'s ! )

Thanks Nic,

Your trick worked. I created a new blank DB and copied all tables and forms from my corrupt DB and everything worked as expected. You've saved me from countless wasted hours :)

Cheers,
