Ghost records

I'm having an odd issue and have no idea what could be causing it.

I am running a process that will take 25 records from a table and put them into an assignment table. When they records are in the assignment table, workers can go in the form and work on their 25 records (I hope this is making sense). When they're out of records, they'll be prompted to get 25 more.

That part works fine. The issue is that sometimes when they get new assignments, they'll get 28 or so records showing in the form. When I go to check the assignment table, only 25 records are there. So why is it showing more on the form? Does anyone know where this could be coming from?

Not with the information provided. Can you navigate through the 28 records to see which should or should not be visible at the time? You would really have to describe your process for anyone to have a chance at troubleshooting it.

It sounds like the .RecordSource may be a query that has a flaw in the design. As Chip says though, we can only guess without some details provided.
