Display Status Number In Individual Columns For Each Session

68
Hi everybody,

I have the table Sessions as shown below:

Session ID
Start Date
End Date
Location
Seats
AvailabeSeats
Course ID

And the other one is Enrollment:

Employee ID
Session ID
Status
Plan
Remarks

The status could have only these values ( In-Progress, Complete, Reschedule, Cancel, No Show, Waiting list).
I'd like to make a query that should include all the fields from Sessions and count the status from Enrollment table. the problem now, how can i create such this query and display every status in individual column for each session. for instance,
In-Progress 10| Complete 2|Reschedule 2| and so on.

Appreciate your help in advance.

It sounds like you need a cross-tab query. I would be more than willing to help further after you read the following link, try this and let us know if you need more assistance.

Sometimes when we get stumped, we can't properly act beyond our circle of thinking.
