Access Pages

P: 1
I'm using Access 2003. I have an Access Page linked to a table. The table has an autonumber field set as the primary key.
I wanted the Access page to open to a blank record so I left the first record blank (this is the first record in the table- not based on the autonumber). On the Page, the person clicks an "Add New Record"command button.
The purpose behind doing this (leaving the first record in the table blank) was to prevent users from seeing other records.
The problem I'm having is that now, when it gets to record 10 (in the table, not autonumber) record 10 becomes the visible record (not record #1). On the navigator bar, record #1 becomes record #2- but on the table record #1 is still on row 1.

Any suggestions on how to fix this (or set the page to open on a new record)?

To prevent the display of other records while entering new ones, set the form property Data Entry to True.
