Slow After split (tried everything)

Hi

Again the same subject. I have tried everything what is recommended what I could find and it is still so slow.

I open the db file in the root of the network and it takes 2s to open the table I'm interested (1500 records) but when I open the same table (linked) using FE which is on local desktop it takes 6-7s.

(I have switched off subdatasheet and it has the latest SP and updates, after compacting, its in 2007 format running on XP Pro with SP3)

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance
Emil

Are you certain that you've installed the latest service pack, Office 2007 SP2?It just became available in late April and early May 2009.

Issues fixed by SP2

Hi

Thanks for that. This is now resolved it was actually a network issue and was fixed by company network people.

Next time first thing I will check how long it takes to open a table (FE) to eliminate antivirus and network problems straight away ;)

Thanks
Emil
