Access 2007 and Sharepoint

When a database is loaded into sharepoint, would an end user also need to have access 2007 loaded on their machine?

Not positive Trixx, but I would think that would be a yes.

I'll qualify that. There should be the Access 2007 application available or the 2007 Access Runtime.
