Form will no longer allow new records.

I don't know what happened. My form stopped allowing new records. The new records button down at the bottom of my form is grayed out, and when I try going to a new record by hitting the next record button I get a message "you can't go to that specific record." What happened? I can add a new record to the under lying quire/table but not through the form. Help.

Do you have code in the BeforeUpdate event?

solved my own problem. Somehow (I have no idea) my "allow additions" property was set to no. Changing that to "yes" corrected my problem. Thanks.

That was an easy one :)

Thanks for updating with the cause though. It always helps to check through the property list when something like that happens I find.
