Interesting - vertical date in Access 2007 report

Vertical date on my report shows #######

Other vertical text appears correct.....hmmmm ideas?

the date might be longer the vertical length allotted. Try increasing the vertical length a tad. If that does not fix it, maybe Stephen Leban's rotated text function may help.

Increasing the vertical length worked. When using vertical text, it seems Access defaults to aligning the text way to the right. So the text field in report design view was large enough to contain the date, but in report preview it wasn't. I ended up setting the background to text box background to transparent and increasing the field 2 times the required height. This did the trick.
