Access Forms/calc problem

P: 15
Ok I am back.

I am having a bit of trouble (what's new I hear you cry). I have my form set up and it's got all the drop down boxes etc. I have originally set up a text box (called winning team) with the Calculation thus: =IIF([HG]>[AG],[HOME],[AWAY]) And it worked ok.

Now ...

I added two more text boxes HPen and APen.

I wanted to get [HG] and [HPen] to add together. initially it did.
In the winning team box I now wanted the calculation to work. So I created a text box (and it was not visible) called [Htots]
All the same for APen, Atots as above.

So in princple =IIF([Htots]>[Atots],[Home],[Away]) should work. Nope ... It shows the wrong team each time.

Also in the Htots total shows a Crazy total .

e.g. Croydon Vs Bright 3-2 win for Croydon should show the Htots being 3 .. It shows 10 or some other strange number.

Then if Croydon and Brighton drew 2-2 and Croydon scored 3 penalties and Brighton only 4 I should show Brighton as the winning team ... But No!

Oh help. Attached is an image of the forms page to give you an idea.

Thanks guys

I think I'll need to see the query the form is bound to (Please post the SQL here).

PS. The screenshot has too low definition to be readable.
