Msgbox stays open on timer event close

P: 365
Good morn peeps,

i have a timer form that closes the DB after 5 mins of inactivity, i have just noticed that if there is a message box open, this remains open without access (and keeps the ldb file active), is there a way around this?

Automatically Log off idle users.
You should avoid msgbox if you want db to be closed without user confirmation.
It is possible to close msgbox programmatically, but it requires using API and potentially unsafe.

P.S. You can also use Popup() method of Windows Script Host Object library which has an autoclose feature.
