locking the default value of a text box

266 256MB
i have a text box on my form and a default value set to "09-" obviously for the current year... there will then be a four digit number entered afterwards... i wanted to know if it is possible to lock that "09-" so it cannot be changed in the form but i can still add the four digit number afterwards... thank you!

Use an input mask and the escape character "\" in front of the 0,9,-. Something like
\0\9\-00\-00;0;_
should work.
More info: Customize input masks
