hi,

I have a combo box and when a user changes the value i need to store the previous id that the user has changed and not the new id i tried to do this in the beforeupdate property using the following code but it picks up the new id and not the old one.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. QuerySessionID = Forms![F_ClientDetails]![SF_Session].Form![SessTypeID]
  2.
  3.
Any help is appreciated

The OldValue Property should give you what you're asking for:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. QuerySessionID = Forms![F_ClientDetails]![SF_Session].Form![SessTypeID].OldValue
