Start Up Switchboard Maximized

18
Hello,

This should be simple but I could not figure it out!
I need my switchboard page to start up maximized so user cannot see other database item, which preferably are minimized. I could not find the option in the Tools/startup.

Many thanks for help.

In the Open() Event of the Form you want Maximized, place the following code:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer)
  2.   DoCmd.Maximize
  3. End Sub

Just be aware that after doing that, all your forms will open maximized! To avoid this (assuming you want to) use this code in subsequent forms
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Private Sub Form_Load()
  2.   DoCmd.Restore
  3. End Sub
This will cause the subsequent forms to open as you've sized them originally.
