Quick question about .bas file size

In excel VBA, there is a file size limit on the module that holds macro code. I know there is - I've ran into it before.

Is there such a limit in access on the size (compiled or not) of a .bas module? Has anyone ran into one yet?

We have a database app from a vendor that we are allowed to customize - and we do. Upgrades are ridiculously difficult - the vendor releases an updated module, which we have to evaluate and merge our changes into (and that's nothing compared to upgrading FORMS).

I am considering making our changes to functions in the bas modules actual new functions instead of just editing the originals (commenting out the guts of the old one, and putting in a reference to our new one). I'd like to be able to keep most of these functions in one module, but I am concerned about file size. It's an idea I have been tossing around.

Anyone experience a file size limitation yet?

Thank you!

The Maximum number of Modules, (including forms and reports with the HasModule property set to True), that you can have in an Access Database is 1,000. I'm not sure about the size limitation, if there is any, within those Modules.
