Opening an Image Viewer

P: 5
I have built a database of pavement conditions, each record has multiple file paths attached which lead to images. In my main form there are thumbnail vervions of these images. I was wondering if there is a way to code a command such that when the user double clicks an image it will open that file, in the default image fiewer (ie. windows picture and fax viewer)

Where/how are the Paths to these Images stored, and how are the Thumbnails themselves stored? e.g Are the Images dynamically loaded into an Image Control, etc. Need much more detail.
