time field

28
hi,

i have a form, which is linked to a table with 2 fields starttime and endtime, what i want is when the form is refreshed, the time is picked up from the system and saved in the starttime field and when i goto the next record, it takes the system time and saves it in the endtime therfore these 2 times should not be the same. also, the endtime of the 1st record becomes the starttime of the next record, thereby no time difference between 2 records.

thnx

Do you want this to happen every time you move from one record to another, or only if data is entered/edited?

And understand that moving from one record to another has nothing to do with the form being "refreshed." "Refreshing" the form, in Access, has a special meaning altogether different from what you're describing.
